The ways back to Eton Hall

Maybe you will think that back to Eton Hall is so easy. Because it's not very far from NUS here and also there are many school buses picking you everyday at the same time , the same place. What you want to do is just to stay here chatting with your friends while waiting for the bus. That's ture, but today I will talk something more than this about how to back to Eton Hall.

After nearly about a month's experience I have already tried three ways back to Eton Hall. I think all of them have their own advantages and also disadvantages. So let's look into them together now.

Without a doubt that the first choice is just to take the bus. It is the easiest way back to Eton Hall. It takes the least time and also the least physical strength. What's more, if suddenly there is something arranged by MOE , just like the unexpectly meeting two weeks ago , waiting at the bus station is the best choice absolutely. But it seems to be so boring while waiting for the bus and it's really a suffering thing to get into bus together with so many people . And many times even I get into the bus ,I still can't get a seat . It's a big problem, especially for those who take laptops with them or those who don't feel well while taking a bus.

I like walking and was suffering from the problems to take a bus for a long time. So naturally I tried for another way back to Eton Hall , walking back . At this time , I want to thank to my roommate Fifsheng, it was him who had been lost for about 3 times in the same place and then found the nearest way back. Walking back is a good choice , we can know the places in singapore better and also have a exercise during the process, you konw, it's really good for our health. But it takes more time to back to Eton Hall and also you may feel very tired after 40 minters' walking. While I think the problems of walking are just OK. I can accept them.

I'm sure that the last way is very stange to all of you . Even i have just experience it for only one time . That day was Friday, after the class we got to the bus station as usual. We just got there a little later than others, but the truth was that we didn't get into the first bus. There was only an empty bus outside which was for the SM2 students back to Labrador. Then we directly got into the bus and just waited for the bus to start. After several minters, the SM2 students didn't come but it was the time for the bus to start . Then, the bus took only 4 SM3 students back to Labrador. After we arrived in Labrador , we took only about 10 minters back to Eton Hall. It was so funny and unforgettable. But also we can see that it's so unequel for the arrange of the bus by MOE to us students in Eton Hall. Every time we are waiting for the bus while the bus to Labrador is waiting for the students.

These are all what I want to share with you . Maybe you can try another different way from before after read these.

  2. Wow that is a really good lifestyle~~ I'm considering joining the "march"...

I think the one you walked back with is better called dormmates...since roommate refers to the person you live with in the same room...

  3. Agree!
I have fun walking back to our hall from our hall, too.
It's extremely enjoyable when seated in the dorm, with sweat all over my body. It tells me that my fat is burning!haha~~kidding~~:P

But there's still a problem bothering me. It's the busiest time of traffic. The bad air is really annoying...

  5. Walking is the best form of exercise. It is free and it allows you to enjoy the surroundings. Have you ever looked at the trees, flowers, types of grass? Observe from your daily walks, how nature changes around you over the next few months. Perhaps you may wish to record what you see, then it may surprised you months later to notice some subtle changes. Enjoy your walk.
