I hate exams after rest, and it always happens in China. So during the rest, I usually spend most of the time on review. Even I can take some time going out or playing with my family, I can’t enjoy myself very much, because I always think of the exam that coming soon. This kind of situation happens to me again.
Last weekend, we had the first exam of math and c programming, which makes me very tired to prepare for it. All the students had to do well in this exam, at least get 70 points, otherwise, they will receive a warning letter, which means that you have to study hard in the following time. Also, it is said if a student receive a warning letter two times, he or she will be sent back to China, which is an absolutely awful thing. In order to void this kind of bad situation, all the students study very hard and try their best to be well prepared for it. Before the exam, some day I spent the whole day on typing different programming on the computer and even studied until midnight, just like the life that I used to experience in my grade 3 in senior high school. I thought I was prepared well before the exam, though there are still some lack, I had try my best. However, things didn’t happen toward the good ending that I wished. The math is quiet normal, and I think most of us can pass it. But the C programming exam is quiet unexpected, most of the questions was really confusing. Some of those words were really hard to understand, which means that I even didn’t make out the meaning of some questions, and I thought some of the questions were out of the range of what we had learned in the class. So the C programming exam was really hard, maybe it will a little hard to pass it. But all of those have passed; now we are facing the next challenge and what we should do now is forgetting those and moving towards next target.
Wish all of us can pass that exam!

New subjects taught in a language in which you are not entirely proficient in is difficult. Group study will certainly help. A group of 3 is ideal. Read then take turns to explain to the group what you think it means. If your answers are different, then take another look carefully and explain sentence by sentence. It will take a lot of time, but I assure you it helps. You have to understand the Q before you can get the solution. Each of you then work on the answer then check whether all got the same answer. If not, then work on it again.
