Days in Singapore

After our being excited about our new life style in Singapore, our daily life seems to start in a normal way.Every single day from Monday to Thursday,we have English calsses for six hours. When I first heard about our six-hour-class,I felt surprised and wanted to know whether I can survive after the seven months' long preparatory course. The first week,I got so tired after school. The only thing I wanted to do was to find a friend and talked in Chinese! But then I found there were English surrounding me .Some of my friends even talk in English during their free time. One of them told me that she had got a fine for speaking English in her dorm by her roommates! Then I got used to the busy English studying.Every night I prepare the lessons and memory new words, and then try to use them in class.I got used to speaking in English with my friends, and felt comfortable rather than nervous when I stood up and gave my oroal report.
But there are still some problems. In fact,I find myself full of despair every morning when I wake up.Then I take a quick shower, and hurry to catch the school bus.I even don't have time to have breakfast. When I stand before CENTRE LIBRARY,I try my best to persuade myself to forget the ideas about running away from here. But there still have many things cheerful, such as the lunch time . The food here is far more delicious than those in ETON HALL. I love the Indonesia barbecue, and the luksa!

  4. "got a fine for speaking English"?I think here it should be Chinese. And "memory new words"should be "memorize".^^
I know it is really hard to get up early in the morning, but I think you still have to squeeze time for breakfast although breakfast in ETON HALL is really horrible. Not eating breakfast will definitely do harm to your health.Anyway, keep fighting!^^

  6. Wow, now I sometimes will want to speak English from my heart. It's really interesting actually. Sleep earlier, so that you can get up earlier. Sometimes,I sleep at 8:00pm for 2 hours, and then stap up to 1:00am at night. It is very excellent,I think.

  9. At this time, I always tried to make myself believe that I'm just dreaming, wake up in the dream world, so there would be no pains and of course no sleepy feelings.

Compared with the food in Eton Hall, the cantines in NUS are really heavens!
