Last Saturday our be-frienders(local seniors from NUS) organized a series of activities for us which I really enjoyed.
In the morning we went to Mount Faber where we played several interesting games.I like the last game most which can be called as a Singing Comprtition. Two handsome seniors played the background music of some well-known pop songs while we sang the lyrics to the music. But at a certain point the seniors would stop and let us tell them the next line of lyrics. The one who could tell the lyrics without any mistake would win.Actually I just like the fantastic atmosphere:beautiful guitar accompaniment, romantic songs, happy laughters, refreshing wind brushing my face gently, green trees and pink flowers all around...Everything seemed so perfect and I wondered whether I was in real life or in a romantic Korean TV series.
Besides the singing game, what impressed me most was the amazingly clean and beautiful harbor of Singapore. On the top of the mountain,I could have a bird's-eye view of the nearby harbor:white chimneys standing high into the blue sky, colourful cargo ships plying back and forth in order, white seagulls flying round and round peacefully, little waves rolling on and on and making a pleasant sound...That scene was exactly like an oil painting drawn by a master.
In the evening we had our talent time. The group I was in put on a small drama about Chang'E and her husband Hou Yi.Every group's performance was so excellent that I firmly believe all of us had a good time that night.
In the end,I want to express my genuine thanks to my be-frienders even though they can't see my blog.As soon as I got to Singapore they picked me up at the airport although it was nearly mid-night.They took me on amenities tour in order to make me get familiar around. They led me during my medical check-up and showed me around NUS.They organized interesting camp activities to let us have fun.Although I am now in a totally new and strange country, their warm help and care make me feel less lonely and fit in quite well. So,THANK YOU ALL MY BE-FRIENDERS!
