In the text we learnt today, there was a saying going that we couldn't learn English well without interest. And I think it is perfectly true. Fortunately, I have been enjoying my English language learning very much.
In class, we have fun learning with our tutors. And the tutors are very humorous and responsible. They not only relate to daily life, but world affairs when teaching learning skills, which makes lessons very lively and full of laughter.I always have an ambition to talk about my tutors because it is them who have produced such interesting lessons.
Mr Mehdi, who is our Monday tutor, speaks very authentic British English, which sounds so beautiful. He has got an lively mind and has a lot of thoughts to share with us. As a result, the material he plans to teach can not be finished, which, I believe, is common among all the tutors. I'm not complaining of course. It's just a teaching method I've never experienced before.
Another tutor who is very impressive is Mrs Yap who teaches us on Tursday. She is so humorous and so lovely that she keeps us laughing all the time. But that is not the only reason why she has left deep impression on me. She has actually spent a lot of time teaching us etiquette, which is how to be polite and nice to others. I really appreciate that.
The other tutors are also very nice. Ms Sonali always wears an attractive smile;Ms Esther Soo-Chee speaks very beautiful American English which is fascinating; Ms Leo tells us a lot about local Singaporeans' life.
I really take an interest in learning English now. I do not entertain myself with English movies or music, but enjoy learning English thanks to the tutors. Through listening and speaking, I enjoy myself in the world of English.
