On teaching and learning in a small class

The "small class "in my title means a class which contains not more than 25 students .Of all my 13 study years , I spent only one year in a small class ,and that's my pre-school year. There were 22 students in my class ,but I was too young too have any memory about it .And during the following years I have never studied in a class which the number of its students was less than 50,usually it's between 50 to 70.So I have known its disadvantages very well .And since I came here ,I really appreciate it very much !

Here ,we are divided into small groups .We 19 students form a class ,with 5 tutors' accompany .Everyone of us could have an opportunity, at least once in one period , to take an activity part in the class discussion ,and everyone's voice could be heard in class .We can speak out our thoughts and feelings ,no matter it is right or wrong ,and the tutors can give us a little comment. Thus this gives us all a feeling that we are the hosts of this class ,and this motivated us to practise English more in class .

And because the scale of our class is not big ,every tutor can pay attention to every student, they can know students very well , thus giving those who have not say a word in class a chance to practise .Moreover ,tutors can make full use of the time to use all kinds of methods they want to draw our attention to what he or she wants to convey to us ,also these knowledge will have a deeper impression on our minds .

Thanks to all these conveniences,we all enjoy it very much .

  6. I think there should be a change with our groupmates. It doesn't mean I don't like my groupmates, they are outgoing and cute. But I think we should talk to everyone in our small class. We are a group but now there are still some people I haven't talked to.
