The Experiences of Saying I-love-you

Seldom is there a wonderful class as that of last Thursday afternoon. I bet all of us must be very impressed, surprised, or even shocked on sharing the experience of saying I-love-you for the first time.

1. Step by Step
The first volunteer to share his romantic story was Norman, whose story might be of a little history, which even he himself could not remember clearly. “I just asked her to go out with me, and we watched movies in the cinema, then we fell in love.” He narrated in such an ambiguous way that it invited me to cast doubt on whether he intended to tell the truth or not.
“How long did you fall in love with each other and express love to each other?”
“One week!”
“That’s quite a short time.”

Out of the story*: Actually I was suspicious about the authenticity of his story. Maybe there was something private he did not want to reveal. But I viewed it as a legend for strangers to fall in love in only 7 days. Yeah, God can create the human in 7 days, but are you confident to capture a girl’s heart in 7 days?
There must be a secret! Go and ask him in privacy and maybe you can get the formula of saying I-love-you.

2. Romantic Story
Then jumped out our second narrator—Walter, the tallest boy in our class.
Strong as he appeared to be, I think this boy has a tender and romantic heart, which may not be spotted out at first sight. His expression of love was a little bit long. Listen if you have time and patience.
“We went to a woods where it was quiet and there were only two of us. Then I told her a story. It’s a little bit long. Do you want me to tell the story?” He asked, with a blatant intention to share his romantic history.
“Yeah!” Shouted the class.
“Well, a rabbit, a cute rabbit,” He began his story “was walking when it met a giraffe, which it had never seen before. So it went to the giraffe and asked ‘hey, who are you?’ The giraffe said ‘kiss me and I’ll tell you!’ The rabbit kissed the giraffe. The giraffe said ‘I'm giraffe.’ ‘Oh, you are giraffe! ’Said the rabbit and it went on. Then he ran across an elephant…...
At last it saw a very strange creature with three legs and four eyes. Do you know what it is? My girlfriend said ‘No, I don’t know’. Then I said’kiss me and I’ll tell you.’ And then my girlfriend kissed me. ”
All the class burst into roar with astonishment. Someone asked “What is the creature?”
Out of the story: It is a very roundabout and romantic way to tell a story to express your love. This method merely applies to a good story-teller, and he should be equipped with the ability to catch the girl’s attention and prevent her from distraction all the time when telling the story. Make sure the girl has enough time and patience to listen to the ending. If unfortunately your girl is a hothead, just jump to the last sentence.
For girls, if he is your Prince Charming, do not hesitate and go to kiss him, cause for this kind of boy, there is a very slim chance for him to express his love to the same girl for a second time. If you miss this time, you are sure to lose him all your life. However if you are not quite satisfied with the boy in front of you, but you do not want to end the intimacy between you two, you can simply smile to him, saying “But I know the name of this creature.” But if he is so inquisitive and asked “What is it?” (Probably he won’t, cause he has sank in disappointment.) It is also a piece of cake. Just tell him “It’s you!”


3.Tough Choice
Above was just one of the highlights, there was another amazing one in the following. It was Edison, who seemed not willing to share his experience, but finally agreed to tell his story under the encouragements and pressure of the crowd.
“We had sent short messages to each other for 2 months before I expressed my love. I just asked her ‘Would you like to be my normal friend or girlfriend?’ And she chose the second one.”
“You just said like that?” our tutor was surprised, “You are brave!”
Out of the story: This is a very clever and evil way to show your love. I find it clever because you two can still stay a close relationship and you will not be that embarrassed even if the girl chooses the first one. I find it evil because it forces the girl to make the hard choice, without showing any emotion or opinion of the boy himself. That is to say, the evil boy wants to hear the girl’s expression of love while hiding his own first. But I think it is an effective way. Well, boys, go ahead if you are brave enough!
For girls, I don’t think it easy to answer this question which looks like a very simple choice. Of course, you are free to choose first or the second one if you are straightforward. But if you cannot any hints such as his voice or the expression on his face, which showcase the love of the boy, you’d better think twice. Maybe it is more of a trick than a love oath because he is not only clever but also a little evil if he announces his love in this way. But don’t frustrate! I have some answers you can refer to. You can just throw the question back “What's your idea? Would you like me to be your normal friend or girlfriend?” and you can also be humorous by saying “Will you be whatever I choose? If the answer is yes, I will chose the second one; if the answer is no, I’ll choose the first!”


Virtually the most traditional way to express love is to offer a rose while half-kneeling down, saying in a romantic voice “I love you, would you like to marry me?” Hardly can modern people do in that way, unless you are extremely eager to be the topic of gossip and rise to fame overnight.

Nevertheless you are supposed to be aware that the vital importance when you express your love is not what you say, but is getting her to know your sincerity and your heart.

In reality, I am not a love guru. I’m merely a green hand and standing at the gate of the love garden, wondering what was flourishing there, wondering what is the color of love, what is the taste of being loved.
