women today

Times when women were just sitting at home and caring the families have long gone . Nowadays more and more women begin to participate in the social work which they would never do before . Though women declare that they want to be equal to men , but the fact shows that they are even better than men in some areas as what they do has proved . Women's ability has been recognised by the society and some women are even playing a more important part than men do . Women today are much different from what they were in the past . They are independent , stronger in mind and self respected .
However , even the women have been liberated from house work long ago and they don't have the obligation to take it any more , they are still supposed to it . Women are still thought to be a homemaker by general people , even some women themselves . So that it is very common to hear the complains from women . After work they have to prepare dinners for their husbands while the husbands can enjoy everything they like . What's worse , women can be much busier after they have children . I think this may be an important reason why people nowadays get married later and later . The physical character that women can give birth to children and the nature to care children might contribute to this situation .
When thinking about the most familiar women , my mom , I find a exception . My mom used to have a job , but quit it when she was told that it was going to reduce the staff without even considering to complete . She stays at home and is content to be a homemaker . She acts just like the standard women in the old times . So my point is that even women are much more different now , there are still some traditional women just like my mom . Women's status are changing , but some old concepts still remain in people's mind and do not want to leave .
