The Lord of the Rings

During the recess, I enjoyed many things. I went swimming with my roommates, and had a wonderful day. Also I went picnic with my classmates and spent an impressive and unforgettable day. What's more, I spent about 11 hours to watch the film "The Lord of the Rings", and it was really worth to do it because of its wonderful scene and Profound meaning.

The Lord of the Rings is really a wonderful film and it is very difficult to rendering the whole of it by only several hundred words. So I just want to share some of my feelings (it is also impossible to share all of my feelings, because there are so much) about it.

"The Lord of the Rings," the central figure has nine Race: Hobbits, Dwarves, human beings, Elves, Wizards, Trolls, Ents, Orcs, Ringwariths and Uruk-Hais. Each race has a different life, customs, myths, and even dressed in martial arts, each one race in the Ring with a full show out to create a transcendent reality, but very real fantasy world. I like the Hobbits most even they don't have strong bodies, they don't have beautiful looks and even they are not very smart. But they are mildness and kind-hearted, they like nature and have the pure mind just like children. At the beginning of the film when it is Bilbo-Baggins’ 110th birthday, I was really impressed by the beautiful firework and the song sung by the Hobbits. It was just a life that everyone hopes to own. And it was just for that kind of life, Frodo-Baggins (the protagonist of the film), a Hobbit who is a little shy but has the character of integrity, toke over the duty to destroy the Ring. Though he had the help of Lord of the Rings expedition, he still must continue to resist the spell from the Lord of the Rings.

All members of the Lord of the Rings expedition have their own characteristics. Like Sham, he represents the noble virtues, simplicity and loyalty, he is the representative of Hobbit, and he has the most loyal of Frodo's friendship, and even willing to through fire and water for friends, it surely means to him. Throughout the film, he never leaves Frodo and never give up even when Frodo misunderstood him. If possible, I just want to make friends with such kind of people. And Merrill and Pippin, also Hobbits, they like games and always have hope for the future, even when they faced the cruel war they also showed their brave even though others never gave hope to them. Gimli, a very forthright dwarf, and Legolas, the Goblin King's son. They bicker along the way and bring lots of jokes to the story.

Through the whole movie, we are shocked by the huge power of the Dark devil Solon and his Orcs army. But also we are impressed by the belief of the righteous side. And also the love story between Wizard Princess Arwen and the Human beings' king Aragon is really an unforgettable thing during the movie, it's really different and much more beautiful at that kind background.

At last, the Magic Ring was destoried. And a new world began.

While, there are many things we can learn from the people in the movie, the hope, the brave, the loyal, the happiness, the sense that never give up and so on. If we all own those Glitterings, then, also a new world of us will begin.

  2. It really took me a long long time to watch all these three movies. The first two each lasts for 3 hours and the last one lasts for 4 hours! And i don't like the Hobbies Frodo. He's weak. At last he still want to wear the ring. If his finger isn't bitten by GuLu, he will be another devil. I think Aragon and Gandolf are the best figuers. They are strong, determined and brave.
