Barbie VS Transformer

1. There are so many world-wild popular toys in our daily life, while two of them stand out among all of them. One of them is Barbie, the other is Transformer. These two toys keep up with a whole generation, and earn a very high reputation among human. In spite of their success, there exist a lot of differences between them.
   
2. One of the obvious differences between the two toys is their original. At first the founder of Barbie got inspiration from her daughter, and then made some changes to German toy Lily, later she made the toy which now is known as Barbie Girl. When the girl was promoted to market, it soon became a best-seller. The success of Barbie is beyond everyone’s expectation. In contrast, transformer is known as the Japanese toy which was named as Diaclone and Microman at its very beginning. The Japanese “Transformer” was not successful, so later it was sold to American Hasbro. After Hasbro’s making lots of changes and making some cartoons based on it, the American Transformer finally became a success!
   
3. In addition, the position where they are set in the market is totally different. Barbies aim at appeal to girls, no matter old or young. The perfect index of Barbie cannot be reached by any human, but it is a dream to every girl. Every girl had a Barbie in their inner heart. And in their real life they want a thing to contain their dream about beauty, which is the reason why Barbie exists in every corner in the world. As an ad says where there is a dream there is a Barbie. On the other hand, Transformer sets male as its target. Because the world of Transformer is designed in another planet, and it tells a story about battling the enemy and keeping the peace of their own planet, all this can easily wake up the inner desire of male to be a hero. Every male want to be a certain hero in the Transformer family. In this way, Transformer starts to boom!
   
4. The market managing is another character that distinguishes them. Every year Barbie would change her career and her accessories such as hair style, clothing style, even face according to the trend of human’s real life. But her charming is always unchangeable. Every year Barbie would lead a kind of fashion. While Transformer family makes little change to its members. What make Transformer never out of fashion is that his company would make a series of cartoons and, of course, movie now and then. These stories make Transformer fans get crazy and let their passion grow stronger and stronger.
   
5. Though both of them enjoy an extraordinary success, they differ from each other in these three ways. The two companies have a clear concept of their own, and have a good knowledge of their market as well as their opponents. Their existences make our life more colorful!
