OH MY GOD! My Money Has Run Out!

Last week is really a busy week, not only for the oral report, essay, oral presentation and summary, but also because the busy weekend which let me spend over 1200 dollars. In this weekend, there is a IT show that almost all of my friends including me have look forward for a long time! So after the class in Friday, we went to IT show as quickly as possible as we can. In the IT show, there are so many things on sale, which really attract me a lot. At last, I decided to buy a itouch and a canoe camera, which each cost me 439$ and 308$, I know this is a big mount, but in my mind, it’s necessary. So I spend 439+308=747$ on Friday. Then is the Saturday, it’s my birthday in nongli, I spend my birthday with one of my roommates, because his birthday is the same day as mine. We invited all of our classmates in our university. We went to KTV first, and we spent 4 hours singing songs until nearly 8 ‘o clock. After that we went back to a restaurant near to Eton Hall to have our supper. We had many dishes and two cakes, and then we played game together. We spent a wonderful time that night, which was really unforgettable. And this night I spent about 200$, actually, in my mind, that was the most expensive birthday dinner that I had ever experienced. However, thing hadn’t over until now. On the Sunday, I decided to buy a ticket back to my hometown after the bridging course as my best birthday gift. My hometown is really far away from Singapore, so the ticket cost me 530$, but I thought it’s acceptable. I might be expensive, but in my mind, nothing was more important than go back home to get together with my family.
So in this weekend, I was busy, tired but really excited. At the same time, I spent lot money, 439+308+200+305=1252$. Oh my god, I had never experienced to spend so much money in such a short time. And the bad result is that the money in my card is only 150$, I don’t how can I spend the rest time in the next one and half month. I believe it must be very hard. - -!

  5. It is realyy amazing that you do the addition correctly!! Hehe, that is just a joking. Don't worry about that because the MOE surely will not allow you to be hungry to death. And also hope you will enjoy your shopping time next time.

  6. Well, ever since I booked the ticket to return, I have been drown in financial problem...

But I think next time when it is your birthday, you can only afford the cake, and share the cost with those who attend your birthday party. Our scholar is not a big enough to meet such big needs...

  7. Well once in a while we get carried away with all the exciting things to buy.. just cannot resist! Always ask yourself 4 questions before you buy:Do I like it? Can I afford it? Am I willing to pay this much money for it? What is my account balance? If it doesn't allow you to live comfortably, then rethink - WHICH ONE I do not need? Budget carefully. HAPPY BIRTHDAY I am really happy you had a good birthday.
